Davorin Kereković was born on August 14, 1946, in Zagreb, died on August 11, 2020, during organizations 27th “GIS Odyssey 2020” conference. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and obtained a diploma in sociology and philosophy. He has been secretary of the Croatian IT Association GIS Forum since its establishment in 1994. As part of his activities at the GIS Forum, he implemented projects in the field of geoinformatics and the restoration of cultural, architectural and sculpture monuments. He organized international conferences and exhibitions on Geographic Information Systems – GIS Odyssey. He has been passionate about photography since his student years. He was the author and organizer of numerous GIS exhibitions in Croatia and Poland.
